Our family · our heritage

Four generations
of Šibenik hosts.

Tourism is not something we started — it is part of our family story. In 1895 our great-grandfather helped make Šibenik the first city in Europe with public lighting powered by alternating current, and saw the beauty of the Krka long before tourism was a word here.

1895

Ante Šupuk

Our great-grandfather, mayor of Šibenik and a visionary. With engineer Vjekoslav Meichsner he launched the first hydroelectric power plant on the Krka river — and ran the first panoramic boat tours to its waterfalls.

2nd generation

Our grandfather

He carried the legacy on as director of the Zadar Tourist Board, when the coast was just being discovered.

They passed on their passion for hospitality through years of work in some of the most renowned agencies along the coast.
